A user on X, identified as @the-beardedsina, posted a description of what he saw while driving home from work at 5 p.m., noting heavy traffic and continuous honking.
He said an older man, apparently in his seventies, was standing on the road dressed in a brown kaftan, shorts and a knitted cap, his joints appearing deformed as he swayed and seemed in pain while trying to sell a newly released cheese ball.
The poster questioned the situation, writing, “How can a man in his 70s be hawking Cheese balls on the road. This was a man that should be in his house enjoying some pension and elderly care funds to take care of him. What could have happened?. What was the backup story ?”.
He added that after a brief opening in the traffic he continued driving, “I drove, but for some reasons, a cloak of sadness filled my heart”.
