A Nigerian lady living in Canada has gone viral after recounting an awkward dating experience that made her swear off dating Nigerian men.
In a video shared on social media, she claimed she was on a date with her boyfriend when he called one of his friends, only for her to discover that the friend was her ex-boyfriend.
According to her, she pretended not to recognise him and avoided drawing attention to the situation.
She said the awkwardness continued when they made a video call to another friend, whom she claimed was someone she was currently in the talking stage with.
The incident left her shocked, prompting her to jokingly declare that she was done dating Nigerian men in Canada.
She said in part …
“I’m done dating Nigerian guys in Canada. I was on a date with my boyfriend and he called one of his friend. Guess what, that his friend was my ex. Na person wey I don date before. Ah, Omo as I see am I just chook eye for phone dey press my phone. Anyhow, later I come dey look say oga nothing sup. I just did as if I didn’t know him. Next thing they called their friend on a video call and the guy they called was a guy I’m in a talking stage with. I’m done with Nigerians…”
