Nimmy Ferrari’s father rejects mother’s claim he planned to exhume her and sell her home

Nimmy Ferrari’s father has responded to claims by her mother, revealing details about the late actress’ house and burial dispute.

The father of the late actress Nimmy Ferrari has publicly refuted allegations made by her mother after the actress was buried at her newly finished house in Sagamu, Ogun State. The mother had accused him of intending to dig up Nimmy’s body and sell the property, prompting him to give his version of events.

He insisted he could not have caused his daughter’s death, saying she had called him from the hospital where she was undergoing fibroid surgery. “I can’t kill my child,” he said, adding that she told him she was already admitted and that the scan fees had been paid, while the operation was priced at ₦3.6 million. He claimed to have suggested a doctor he knew in Abeokuta as an alternative.

Addressing the house dispute, the father said Nimmy had expressed a desire to own her own home and that he sought permission from family elders, who agreed to allocate a portion of the family land for her. He maintained that while the house was being built, Nimmy asked him not to inform her mother, noting that the first parcel of land she purchased was originally bought through her mother, who later sold it.

The disagreement between the parents continues over both the burial arrangements and the ownership of the Sagamu property where Nimmy was laid to rest, adding another layer to the controversy surrounding her death after reported complications from the fibroid surgery.
