Grieving Mother Defends Sanku Comedy, Recalls His Final Words
The devastated mother of late comedian, Raji Samad Adetola, widely known as Sanku Comedy, has passionately denied rumors linking her son’s tragic death to money rituals. In an emotional video that has gone viral, she spoke out against allegations circulating online, insisting that her son lived a devout and honest life.
“My son never did money rituals,” she said tearfully. “He was a devoted Muslim who always relied on my prayers. He didn’t go to any herbalist, and he would always tell me that my prayers were enough to guide him.” She also revealed that while many Alfas offered him spiritual soaps, Sanku refused to use them, choosing instead to pray and work hard to achieve his success.
Recalling his final moments, she shared that Sanku had recently asked her to move in with him, promising she’d finally rest and enjoy the fruits of her labor. “He told me not to worry about anything, that he and his siblings would become great people,” she added.
Sanku’s humble beginnings were also highlighted, with his mother recounting how he used to help her hawk peppers before focusing fully on his comedy career. She described him as a hardworking and kind-hearted son who always prioritized family.
The rumors about rituals have sparked outrage among fans, many of whom have rallied behind the grieving mother, offering their condolences and dismissing the claims as baseless. Sanku’s sudden passing in a car accident along the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway has left an undeniable void in the hearts of many.
