Marseille welcome Paris Saint-Germain to Stade Velodrome for the first Le Classique of the French Ligue 1 season. It does not get any easier for Les Phoceens, who have endured a mixed start to the season, while the Parisians are yet to drop a single point this campaign.
Marseille find themselves seventh in the league after two wins and as many defeats from their opening four games. Roberto De Zerbi’s men did claim a 4-0 home victory over Lorient in their previous fixture.
The hosts will go into Sunday’s clash off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in a midweek UEFA Champions League fixture. However, there have been some positives as their two wins this season have come at the Stade Velodrome.
