Hypeman GOE details how he allocated the ₦20 million gifted by Wizkid

Popular Nigerian hypeman God Over Everything (GOE) said he received a ₦20 million gift from Afrobeats star Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, after a viral track he posted on Saturday, 2 December 2023. He later explained the breakdown of the money in a previous interview.

GOE stated the cash was initially deposited into his mother’s account as a gesture of love. Within 24 hours, his mother announced her intention to purchase a vehicle priced at ₦9.8 million.

Following the car purchase, GOE allocated ₦1 million to be shared among his three sisters. He then used the remaining funds to acquire land and build a house, noting he had warned his mother not to spend any more of the money.

Social media reactions varied: Gabriel Chukwu urged GOE to resolve the matter with his mother, Trade like Donnar called it unreasonable to expect his mother not to use the money, Onu Stacks praised the planning behind the spending, and Sakamanje dismissed him as foolish.
