Woman says man assumed she’d go to his house after spending ₦180,000 on their dinner date

A guest on the Whotpocast recounted that a man who had paid more than ₦180,000 for a dinner outing tried to drive her to his residence instead of taking her home. When she declined, he stopped the car, told her to order an Uber because he couldn’t drive her back, and left before the ride arrived.

She explained that after the meal the driver headed toward his house, and after she said she would not go there that night, he suggested she arrange an Uber. He then drove off while she waited for the transport that had not yet arrived.

The woman suggested the high cost of the date may have led the man to expect she would follow him home, but she stressed that covering the expenses did not obligate her to do so.
