Temi, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola and wife of Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, has opened up about her decision to adopt her husband’s surname, Ajibade, after their wedding. In an interview with BBC, the actress and fashion influencer explained that the name change was a deeply personal choice, one that felt natural to her as a married woman.
She shared, _“I’m now a married woman, so taking my husband’s name was the obvious thing for me. But it’s my personal choice, and I also respect every woman’s right to make her own decision.”_
Temi reflected on how marriage has shaped her identity, emphasizing that privacy has been key to maintaining control over her narrative. She believes moving in silence allows her to share details of her life on her own terms.
