Popular content creator Kuye Oghenevwede Adegoke, known as Egungun of Lagos, celebrated his wife Pashotah’s birthday on Wednesday, July 2, with a heartfelt and surprising tribute.
In his message, Egungun shared an unexpected story from their early days. He revealed that ten years ago, a friend gave him ₦3,000 to help find a girl from a Lagos tertiary institution.
The woman he introduced would later become his wife.
Egungun admitted he never imagined that the young lady he brought to his friend would turn out to be the love of his life.
The tribute, posted soon after Egungun acquired his dream car, a brand-new G-Wagon Brabus, delighted fans with its mix of humor and romance.
He wrote, “Ten years ago, I was asked by a friend to find him a girl from YabaTech because he had more money than me. Honestly, I had no idea I would end up marrying the very girl I introduced to him. He literally gave me ₦3,000 to bring you to his house in Ajah. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY LOVE. She has really been amazing.”
