The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, cautioning that Nigeria may face possible reprisal attacks following recent United States airstrikes targeting terrorists.
In a statement released through his media office, the cleric claimed that militant groups and bandits could respond violently, alleging that intelligence and spiritual signals point to heightened security risks in the country. He warned that Nigeria must not lower its guard, stressing the need for increased surveillance and proactive security measures.
Primate Ayodele urged the Federal Government to strengthen intelligence gathering, protect vulnerable locations, and intensify collaboration among security agencies to prevent any form of retaliation.
While emphasizing that his warning should not be taken as an attempt to cause fear, the cleric said it was meant to alert authorities so that preventive steps could be taken to safeguard lives and property.
As of now, the Federal Government has not issued an official response to the warning. Security experts continue to advise calm, vigilance, and reliance on verified information from official sources.
