In a video posted to her social media page, Danielle Edochie – the daughter of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie – explained that she will not date or marry an internet fraudster, commonly referred to as a Yahoo boy.
She argued that women who choose such partners are mainly driven by the prospect of wealth, and although she also likes money, she said she could not consider a Yahoo boy while in her right senses.
Danielle warned fraudsters to stay away from her romantically, stating she will never romanticise a relationship with anyone who steals from people, whether online or in person, and expressed surprise at being repeatedly asked if she is interested in “fraud boys.”
She added that many women may be attracted to the large sums these men make, but she does not share that attraction; she loves money herself but asks them to keep their distance.
