Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations presents us with a sensational clash between two of the favourites in the competition – Nigeria and Tunisia. As the 38th and 41st-ranked teams in the world, the three points could go in either direction.
Both Nigeria and Tunisia got off to a flying start in the competition with victories over the much more modest teams of Tanzania and Uganda, underlining their ambitions to win the group or, why not, the entire tournament. Therefore, it is quite likely that the winner of this match will secure first place in the group.
Nigeria reached the final of the competition in 2023 but lost and are still chasing their first trophy since 2013. It is certainly difficult to bet against them, as the team has won seven of its last eight competitive matches
