Man says his ex’s other boyfriend called to reveal they were both dating the same woman

A Nigerian TikTok user narrated how the man his former girlfriend was seeing called him to disclose that they were both in a relationship with her. The account was posted in a video by @bodeylite, where the storyteller explained the phone call and its impact.

He said they met at an event, swapped numbers and eventually began dating, while she lived in Lagos and he was based in Abeokuta, visiting her once or twice each month. He claimed he trusted her completely and never checked her phone, even though she regularly looked at his when she visited.

After an argument, she stopped replying to his messages, prompting him to wonder where she was. He later learned she was staying at another man’s house. That man then phoned him, saying he had identified the caller after looking at the woman’s phone and announced, “Bro, I’m calling to inform you about something, not to fight with you. I just say make I tell you say this girl dey date me, dey date you. Make she no dey whine the two of us.”

Both men said they were devastated by the revelation. The storyteller told the other man to keep the woman for himself, adding, “I wasn’t interested in her anymore.” The other man replied that, although hurt, he could not continue dating her.
