Mikel Arteta has concluded talks with Arsenal on a new deal that will see him remain at the club after his existing contract, which was set to end this summer, expires. The negotiations have been ongoing for several months and now culminate in an agreement extending his tenure.
While the precise duration of the contract has not been disclosed, reports suggest it could keep Arteta at the Emirates for at least ten more years. The deal is also said to feature a substantial rise from his current £10 million a year salary, together with added performance‑related bonuses.
