Woman says passenger pretended to sleep to avoid fare, later insults her and runs away after she shouts

A commuter recounted that a fellow rider on a bus appeared to be asleep while everyone else paid the conductor. She told the driver that the man had not given his fare, and the conductor verified the claim, prompting the passenger to settle the payment before the vehicle reached its final stop.

According to her, after paying, the man turned hostile, berating her for drawing the conductor’s attention. She quoted his words, “Tell me why this guy started cussing me out after payment. I didn’t talk! Conductor dey cuss am back.” She said she initially ignored the insults until he called her a “mad woman,” saying, “Look at you, mad woman.”

In response, the woman shouted “Tiffff oh! Ole oh! Tiffff, Tiffff, Tiffff oh!” The outburst attracted nearby onlookers, and the man hurried away before a crowd could gather. Witnesses observed his quick departure and understood the reason for her reaction.
