Former Big Brother Naija contestant Sheggz issued a detailed statement to clear up rumors about his relationship with fellow reality star Bella, confirming that the couple have been apart since January 2026 and that he did not cheat on her.
He explained that 2025 was a challenging year for him, marked by frequent hospital visits and a period of treatment and recovery in England. After returning to Nigeria in October 2025, he encountered information that made him question Bella’s honesty, despite having offered her several chances to be truthful since 2024.
Sheggz said the relationship ended in January 2026 after attempts at reconciliation failed, citing persistent trust and respect issues that he felt could not be ignored when considering marriage. He added that he had even bought an engagement ring because he believed a future together was possible, but ultimately decided the partnership was no longer right.
Emphasising his commitment to family, friendship, integrity and faith, he denied any abusive behavior, expressed no desire for public hostility, and wished Bella the best as both move forward with dignity.
