Parents in Nigeria and other parts of the world have been advised to get closer to their children more than ever following a shocking video that just made its way online.
The clip which has gone viral online depicted a girl recklessly smoking weed as she celebrates her 18th birthday with colleagues.
The little girl seemed to be a final-year high school student/SS3 student as she was seen in a school uniform with her mates and that was just the beginning.
Moving on as she celebrates her birthday, the girl was spotted at the centre holding a weed while her mates also in school uniform surrounded her.
She was told to smoke the weed for 18 times while her colleague who surrounded her sang the birthday song.
The 18-year-old girl who looked absolutely innocent in the clip was seen smoking the weed so hard for 18 times and her colleagues bursted into utmost joy after she completed it on her birthday.
However, an online user identified as Gboyega Olokunbola, while sharing the video on his page, advised parents to get closer to their children. He added that this generation of Gen Z children needs more prayers and actions.
The IG user said children of nowadays looked more gentle at home while with parents but are contrary when they are with their mates in school.

Sharing the intriguing video online, he wrote; “This is Troubling and Disturbing. Parents get closer to your Children. We need more Prayers and Actions on this so called GenZ set.
Majority of them are Quiet at home Pretending to be Good Children to their Parents.
This is supposed to be a young Promising Girl celebrating 18years Old Birthday by Smoking Weed in such a reckless manner, COPIED ✅👏 .We really as parents must be intentional about our children, our youth needs close monitoring ✅👏🙏.”
